The flea market at Rathaus Schöneberg opens on Saturdays and Sundays from 9h to 16h in a historic place of Berlin, at the square in front of the Schöneberg city hall where John F. Kennedy gave his well-known speech on June 26, 1963 concluding with the famous words "Ich bin ein Berliner". During the last few years, the market has lost some of its allure, but, anyway, you can still find an interesting atmosphere at the first hours of the morning.

Flea market at Mauerpark
The relatively new market at Bernauer Straße is, at this moment, one of the most popular ones of Berlin. The sellers are usually students and ordinary citizens of Berlin, who flog anything, from bikes to musical instruments and household goods. It is also one of the best places in Berlin for buying vinyl records at reasonable prices. Mauerpark, situated at the former Wall dividing East and West Berlin, is the city's foremost weekend market for bric-a-brac, second-hand furniture, clothes and shoes, vintage and retro stuff of all kinds, a good market for bargain hunters.
Fast-food stands invite visitors to spend all day at the market. Great entertainment in the summer time, open air karaoke, the place is teeming with all kinds of bands, actors and other performers.
